Description

Upgrade your stair safety with our durable Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Stair Tread Covers, designed to provide superior slip resistance and longevity. Each tread cover features a sleek black finish with a contrasting yellow nosing, ensuring high visibility and added safety for all users. Suitable for use on a variety of stair surfaces including wood, concrete, brick, composite wood and steel.

  • Slip Resistant: Anti-Slip FRP Stair Tread Covers have a highly textured surface that provides excellent slip resistance, enhancing safety in areas prone to wet or slippery conditions.
  • Durable: FRP is known for its strength and durability. It can withstand harsh environmental conditions, including exposure to chemicals, moisture, and UV radiation, without corroding or deteriorating.
  • Lightweight: Despite its strength, FRP is relatively lightweight compared to materials like steel or concrete. This makes it easier to transport, handle, and install, potentially reducing overall project costs.
  • Corrosion Resistant: FRP is highly resistant to corrosion, making it ideal for use in environments where exposure to chemicals, saltwater, or other corrosive substances is common.
  • Low Maintenance: Due to its durability and resistance to corrosion, FRP requires minimal maintenance, which can lead to long-term cost savings.
  • Non-Conductive: FRP is an electrical insulator, which makes it suitable for applications where electrical conductivity is a concern, such as in electrical enclosures or near power lines.
  • Customizability: FRP can be cut or shaped on-site making it a versatile option for custom applications.
  • Fire Resistant: FRP has fire-resistant properties, making it suitable for use in fire-sensitive environments.

Installation

Where appropriate, a high quality polyurethane based construction adhesive may also be used to attach FRP Stair Tread Covers to your concrete and solid masonry and wood stair treads. We recommend using adhesive in combination with mechanical fasteners to ensure a secure connection. Using adhesive can help minimize movement of the stair tread cover caused by expansion and contraction due to changes in temperature and humidity.

Anti-Slip FRP Stair Tread Covers are cut to order. Specified product dimensions are subject to ±1/8" variance.
