Installation

• For installation on wood stair treads use #8 x 1-1/2" color matched screws.
• For installation on concrete and solid masonry stair treads, use fischer nylon expansion plugs with color matched screws.

Where appropriate, a high quality polyurethane based construction adhesive may also be used to attach FRP Stair Tread Covers to your concrete and solid masonry and wood stair treads. We recommend using adhesive in combination with mechanical fasteners to ensure a secure connection. Using adhesive can help minimize movement of the stair tread cover caused by expansion and contraction due to changes in temperature and humidity.
